Facilities

Residents and guests of Lakeway are invited to enjoy sixty-four (64) acres of beautiful maintained parklands at Lakeway City Park. Nearly two miles of connected pathway provides for leisure walkers, vigorous joggers, bicycle riders and skaters. Plenty of park benches are provided to rest and see the beautiful views. Huser Memorial Pavilion overlooks the lake and is an ideal venue for gatherings. Other amenities include water activities, beach, two play areas, a number of picnic sites, a butterfly garden, a wildflower meadow, a dog park, Ranger Field (a multi-purpose sports field), sand volleyball and basketball courts.

Reservations

The pavilion near the upper level entrance and the picnic tables located on the lower area of the park are available for rent. One large grill is located on each level.  A rental fee and deposit are required when making reservations. For reservations, call the Activity Center at 512-261-1010.

Ranger Field

This multi-purpose sports field is open to the public. The field is available for non-organized, drop-in use when it is not reserved and for practices when reserved. Reservations have a two-hour maximum time period.

Guidelines for Groups

Groups of 10 or more must obtain a permit prior to holding an event in the park. Groups over 150 are asked to limit their use of the park to weekdays from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Ask about alcohol permits and check on burn bans in the area.
